Rodri Discusses Manchester City’s Defeat over Norwich City
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester City surprisingly lost 2-3 to the Premier League promotion team, Norwich City, at Carrow Road, Saturday (9/14) PM. Man City midfielder, Rodri, was disappointed with the results.
The positive point meant by the Spanish player is that Man City still has room to develop to be better. Rodri acknowledged that Man City is not perfect as a team as there are still weaknesses that must be eliminated. However, that weakness will not be seen when Man City wins. New weaknesses will appear when Man City loses like now.
In addition, Rodri also considered that the defeat over Norwich will not be too influential on Man City’s overall campaign as it happened at the beginning of the season. There are still many points to be won by Man City after the match against Norwich.
“That’s football. That is not a normal game, but we must look forward. This season is very long, you will at least have two or three have matches like this. We don’t always get 10 points as a team. We are not perfect, “Rodri stated, as quoted by the BBC
The results at home to Norwich did not make Man City lose their position in the standings. Man City remained in second place with a collection of 10 points from five matches. Josep Guardiola’s team are five points behind Liverpool who in the other match has won a landslide victory of 3-1 over Newcastle United.
“The positive thing we can say is that this is the start of the season. We are five points behind the leaders of the standings (Liverpool), but we must continue to walk forward, “he concluded.
