Roma Try to Seize Inter Milan’s Target
By news-admin
DBasia.news – AS Roma sporting director, Monchi, indicates the interest to recruit Bordeaux midfielder, Malcom. The Brasilian player is also the target of other Serie A team, Inter Milan.
AS Roma got the money after selling Allison Becker to Liverpool. The Italian club is predicted to get £75M from the transfer.
Il Giallorossi wants to use the money for investment to the other player. One of them is Malcom.
“I know they’re all tired of words and want to win, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. I’ve been here for 14 months, so give me a little time. We’re here to present [Justin] Kluivert, which seemed impossible a few months ago,” said Monchi to Football Italia.
“(Javier) Pastore is here, according to you that was impossible and yet he’s here. Malcom seemed crazy and today you tell me that’s a possibility,” he continued.
As Roma’s decision to release Alisson and Radja Nainggolan isn’t without controversy. Many supporters are disappointed by the team management’s decision.
“There’s about a month left until the end of the transfer window, there are many reasons to hope,” said Monchi.
AS Roma might overtake Inter Milan in getting Malcom, as long as they could give 40 million euro in cash. Bordeaux rejected the loan proposal from Inter.
