Roma Women Team Defeated Fiorentina
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Roma Women bounced perfectly on Sunday afternoon when they beat Fiorentina 2-0 in Florence.
Annamaria Serturini and Andrine Hegerberg scored for Betty Bavagnoli’s team, who brought Roma’s first win against one of the strongest women’s teams in Italy.
Serturini effectively changed the course of the match, the player buried the team last season producing a goal with a fast right-footed shot.
Fiorentina had a good moment before Camelia Ceasar saved a penalty from Tatiana Bonetti – but, because Roma were superior at halftime, the team went through the second interval with more enthusiasm.
The red card for midfielder Stephanie Breitner after a fierce offense against Agnese Bonfantini is evidence of how La Viola was frustrated and moments after that Hegerberg was able to take advantage of the momentum.
Scoring his first goal for the club, the Norwegian midfielder reacted quickly in the box to take advantage of the error of the Fiorentina goalkeeper.
Roma is now staring at the next match by securing good results and perhaps more crucially, successfully showing their character, because the team got up after suffering a disappointing defeat last weekend against AC Milan.
