Ronald Koeman doesn’t want to handle Barcelona just yet
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Ronald Koeman admitted that he still did not want to handle Barcelona. That is the reason why the Dutchman has yet to become a tactician at Camp Nou.
Since Ernesto Valverde was dismissed last January, Koeman has become one of the names on the list of candidates for Barca coaches. Los Cules finally chose Quique Setien.
Koeman is still a coach for the Dutch national team. His commitment is still devoted to dealing with De Oranje competing in the European Cup. The European country’s football celebration has been postponed until next year due to the Corona virus pandemic.
“No. My commitment with the Netherlands is still the same. I will be with the national team at least until after Euro 2021,” Koeman said when asked by Sport about the opportunity to coach Barca this summer.
Koeman did not dismiss that handling Barca was his dream when he became a coach. He revealed three objectives.
“When I started my coaching career, I had two dreams: one to train my country, and the other to become a Barca coach,” the former Los Cules player revealed.
