Rooney: Man United Will Break Man City’s Domination

DBasia.news – DC United striker, Wayne Rooney, optimists that Manchester United will break Manchester City domination in the 2018-2019 Premier League. Wayne Rooney believes, his former club will perform better.

Manchester City was dominating the previous Premier League by collecting 100 points. Moreover, Sergio Aguero and friends just got defeated once. Meanwhile, The Red Devils were the runner-up with 81 points.

Though the points were a bit far, Rooney believed Man United will revive in the 2018-2019 season. Moreover, Jose Mourinho has got some players to fill the position.

“They can challenge, it’s a massive club. Last year was different because of how well City did. In any other year, they might have won the title. A lot of people looked at what City did and said United didn’t play that well,” said Rooney to BBC.

“But they actually had a good season. I believe they can push City next season,” he continued.

“I saw that people said they weren’t playing the most attractive football. But they scored a lot of goals. I think they are getting there. Hopefully, it won’t be long before they win the title again.”

Manchester United will do the pre-season tour in the US and serving AC Milan, Liverpool, and Real Madrid in International Champions Cup.
