Sergio Busquets admits Barcelona was knocked out of the Champions League due to their own doing

DBasia.news – Barcelona midfielder, Sergio Busquets, admits his team were knocked out of the Champions League due to their own actions. Barca were not optimal in a number of early matches.
Victory over Bayern Munich will ensure Barcelona to advance to the top 16. However, Barcelona actually lost 3-0 at the Allianz Arena. Goals by Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala dashed Barca’s hopes.
Inevitably, Barcelona also had to go down a caste to the Europa League. Barca is in third place by losing one point from second place, Benfica.
Busquets did not want to find a scapegoat for this setback. For him, Barca had made a mistake since the start of the competition.
“Now, we feel bad. This is not what we wanted. The club and the fans don’t deserve it. We are in a complicated and painful situation. There are a number of factors that contributed to this,” Busquets said as reported by DAZN.
“Of course, we’re frustrated. It hurts a lot, but we’re going through it ourselves.”
“If we had more points, we wouldn’t be in this situation. We didn’t play well in the first two games.”
The Spanish national team player also added. “We got ourselves into this mess. It hurts a lot,” stated the midfielder.
