Sergio Busquets Wants to Retire with Barcelona

DBasia.news –  Throughout his life and career, Sergio Busquets only supports FC Barcelona. The midfielder also revealed his plan to retire in Barcelona and won’t move to another club.

Sergio Busquets is the alumni of Barcelona football academy, La Masia. Moreover, his father is a part of the Barcelona team winning the 1992 Champions Cup.

Since promoted to the main squad in 2008, Sergio Busquets never move to another club. He becomes the prominent player in Barcelona’s midfield.

The 30-year-old midfielder has performed in more than 500 matches wearing Barcelona jersey. The condition makes Sergio Busquets admits that he couldn’t move to another club.

“I have never seen myself anywhere else. The Guardiola thing I said not because I saw myself anywhere else, but because I should have him in mind, as is normal,” Sergio Busquets told Diario Sport.

“I have always said I won’t be better off anywhere else. Me and the club are made for each other. I can enjoy being at home, at the best club in the world.”

“With the best players, fighting for titles every year, winning the majority. There’s practically nowhere else you can do that,” Sergio Busquets added.

With Barcelona, Sergio Busquets won some prestigious titles, including 7 LaLiga trophies and three titles of Champions League and Club World Cup.
