DBasia.news – Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone believes Diego Costa’s goal-drought in LaLiga will end soon.
Atletico Madrid went to the leading position of the LaLiga after standing after the 2-0 victory against the away team, Real Sociedad.
In that match, Diego Costa played full time but didn’t write his name on the scoreboard. However, Simeone believes he will be back to the accuracy.
“Of course, he is working so that the goals return,” Simeone said.
“He is extraordinary and very important for us, for all the things he does in the dressing room. If you play like he did [against Sociedad], you are very close to scoring. It is the way,” Simeone added.

In total, Costa never scored in 17 recent LaLiga matches. But he scored the goal against AS Monaco in the Champions League match last September and against Real Madrid in the Europe Super Cup.
By this victory, Atletico Madrid go to the top with 19 points. Antoine Griezmann and friends are one point higher than Barcelona as the runner-up.
