Simeone: LaLiga Is More Appealing Without Messi-Ronaldo’s Rivalry

DBasia.news – Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone believes the LaLiga this season would be more appealing due to the end of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s rivalry.
For Simeone, it makes the LaLiga table becomes more competitive.
Barcelona are leading with 18 points, just one point higher from Deportivo Alaves, two points from Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, and four points from Real Madrid.
“LaLiga is fantastic at the moment. It’s chaotic, all the teams are competing and fighting for points,” Simeone said.
“It’s much more competitive than when Ronaldo and Messi defined the championship,” he added.
Atletico should have been equalizing Barcelona’s point if they defeated Villareal. However, Filipe Luis’ goal was followed by Mario Gaspar.
Next, Simeone and his squad will visit Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League match, Wednesday (24/10) before serving Real Sociedad next weekend.
