DBasia.news –  Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer acknowledged that Chelsea’s young players are better than their foster children. This statement was issued by Solskjaer ahead of the United vs Chelsea match in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.

“Chelsea are a very interesting team. Frank (Lampard) has young players who play consistently in the Championship. The difference from us is that they have a better step, “Solskjaer said as quoted by the Daily Mail, Wednesday (10/30/2019).

Solskjaer also expressed his disappointment because many of United’s young players for the time being played well at the loan club. The Norwegian coach exemplifies Axel Tuanzebe for example.

“Axel has a match at Aston Villa. And you can see for yourself how it contributes. “I think the young Chelsea players now feel the benefits of being loaned out to other clubs,” added the former Cardiff coach.

Solskjaer also wishes that one day young United players such as Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes, James Garner, and Brandon Williams will be able to penetrate the first team next season.

Even so, he also admitted that he was quite surprised by the ability of United’s young players to be able to undergo the burden as a coating for the main players who were injured. He hopes in the match against Chelsea, they can show their quality.

“We know now is a difficult period. “Many of our main players are injured and these young people are trying to go through this difficult period with their heads held high,” he concluded.
