Manchester United vs Arsenal

DBasia.news –  Manchester United continued their winning moment under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils achieved the victory against the rival in the Premier League, Arsenal, in the fourth round of FA Cup, Saturday (26/1).

Despite the squad rotation, United went home with a convincing 3-1 score by the goals from Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard, and Anthony Martial. Meanwhile, the host just responded with one goal by Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang at 45′.

Responding to the victory, Solskjaer bluntly compliments his squad. Moreover, the Norway man is also delighted with how Marcus Rashford and friends played, especially during the counter-attack.

“If you go through the history and the games we’ve played against Arsenal that’s how it is. Everyone knows about the classic Champions League goal (in 2009) with Ji (Park Ji-sung), Cristiano (Ronaldo) and Wayne (Rooney) running forward,” Solskjaer said cited by Goal.

“Wazza has scored a couple more like that, as has Ji, so the counter-attacking threat that we have is in our history against Arsenal,” he added.

The victory against Unai Emery squad is really valuable for The Red Devils. They achieved eight consecutive victories of all competitions and scored 22 goals to the contender.

After the match, the club at Old Trafford will be preparing for the upcoming match against Burnley on the 24th-week of Premier League, Wednesday (30/1).
