DBasia.news –  The case of the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus megastar, against the K-League All-Stars in a long tails preseason test match. Authorities in South Korea to intervene to investigate.

As reported by the AS, Oh Seok-hyun, a lawyer from LKB and Partners, reportedly reported Juventus and Ronaldo to South Korean police with accusations of fraud and failure to fulfill obligations – under contract – to play in the match.

The lawyer demanded collective compensation. About 2,000 people requested compensation for Ronaldo’s absence. If the results of the Seoul police investigation find evidence that strengthens it, then Ronaldo can be punished.

The potential penalty that can be received by the 34-year-old player is the possibility of extradition from Italy or one year in prison. It is unlikely that Ronaldo will return to Seoul and pay a fine, but Interpol (International Police) can provide one of the two sentences.

Juventus match against K-League All-Stars itself ended in a 3-3 draw. Fans who watched the match were disappointed because they could not see Ronaldo’s action and whistle. A reasonable disappointment because it’s not cheap for them to buy match tickets.

TheFasta, promoter of the match, will also be questioned regarding Ronaldo’s absence. Some time ago, Maurizio Sarri, Juventus coach, and Andrea Agnelli, President of Juventus, described Ronaldo’s absence because he was exhausted and the team of doctors advised him not to play.

“Ronaldo is expected to play today, but he is not fit because his muscles are exhausted. I spoke with Andrea Agnelli and Ronaldo before the match and agreed to rest him,” Sarri said.

“Every player who comes to Korea plays in the match except Cristiano Ronaldo. Our medical staff recommends that he have to rest because of muscle fatigue after playing against Inter Milan. The match was held only 28 hours before the match in Seoul,” Agnelli added.

“Therefore, I deny their accusations about being irresponsible, arrogant, and not respecting supporters. We always respect them,” he stressed.

“There is no one at Juventus who wants to embarrass the K-League, the Korean football association, or the Asian football confederation.”
