Spalletti’s Comment After Inter Milan 0-1 Against Juventus

DBasia.news – D’Italia Derby ended with the 1-0 victory of Juventus against Inter Milan at Juventus Stadium, Saturday (8/12). Mario Mandzukic scored the only goal for Massimiliano Allegri squad in that match.
The result adds Juve unbeaten record in Serie A competition and makes them stronger leading the table. On the other hand for Inter, Ivan Perisic and friends were unable to win three consecutive matches.
Responding to the defeats of his squad, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti speaks up and admits that his team performed inconsistently.
“The game had to be played a certain way with a consistent attitude. But we made too many banal and cheap errors. There was one incident where we burst away and got behind their defense, but couldn’t get the ball to the forwards. That sort of thing can make the difference,” Spalletti told Football Italia.
“We did that largely well, but there are some situations where we just don’t interpret or read them properly, whereas Juventus never get that wrong,” the former AS Roma manager added.
The defeat against Juventus didn’t change Inter’s position in the table. They are in the third position with 29 points.
After this match, Mauro Icardi and friends are preparing for the crucial match against PSV Eindhoven on the 6th matchday of Champions League group phase, Wednesday (12/12).
