Staying in Italy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic Wants to Win Title with AC Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Zlatan Ibrahmiovic officially extended his contract with AC Milan. The 38-year-old player is determined to win the Serie A title with the rossoneri
He feels his team is in positive progress in the last six months. But they need affirmation.
“We must not forget, we haven’t won anything. This season we have to win (Champion),” said Ibrahimovic as quoted by the Italian Football, Tuesday (1/9).
Milan were unbeaten in 13 consecutive matches before ending the 2019-2020 season. That made the Rossoneri finish sixth, and featured in the Europa League qualifiers.
Ibra asked his colleagues to continue what had been done. As well as working hard, he hopes that Il Diavolo’s squad will have confidence while on the pitch.
“Remember when you wear the Milan shirt, it is an extraordinary privilege. At the same time, it is pressure,” he added.
Next he discussed his contract situation. Ibra and Il Diavolo agreed to continue the collaboration. The forward who turned 39 in October 2020 said Milan was at home.
Where he finds comfort. So, this decision came out naturally. From the first day he dressed in Il Diavolo, he felt he was treated well.
“I have always been a part of Milan, even when I played in other teams. When I first arrived in Milan, I smiled. Something I have never done in my previous job,” he concluded.
This is Ibra’s second adventure at the San Siro. In 2010 to 2012 he had a time in the Rossoneri costume before leaving for PSG.
