Stefano Pioli Claims AC Milan Ready to Play the 2020-2021 Serie A Season

DBasia.news – AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli stated that his team was ready to undergo the 2020/2021 Serie A season. He is optimistic that the Rossonerri will shine this season.

Pioli still entrusts the position of goalkeeper to Gianluigi Donnarumma. He already has a personal agreement with the 21-year-old goalkeeper.

“Yesterday, I spoke to him. He is ready to be present at every opportunity with Milan,” he said in a press conference broadcast on the club’s official website, Wednesday (16/9).

“For me, this is not surprising. He is mature, ready and growing,” he added.

Apart from Donnarumma, Pioli also stated that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was ready to fight this season after recovering from injury. On the one hand, he reminded his players to be confident in facing difficult matches.

“We know the difficulties in the first match, the opponent will bring good football. We should not think about difficulties, but have to look for opportunities,” he said.

“We have some key players and they have to be ready for difficult matches,” he added.
