Stefano Pioli Opens Votes after AC Milan Arrested Sassuolo Goalless

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The 2019-2020 Serie A match which took place at the San Siro stadium on Sunday (12/15) between AC Milan and Sassuolo ended without scoring. AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli also considers that his team still has a duty to overcome the completion of the opportunity.

AC Milan appears to dominate. In total, the Red-Black players released 23 chances throughout the match.

Unfortunately, of that number, no one has scored. Including two kicks Rafael Leao who still hit the goalposts.

“We could have more steps and movements in the first half. However, in the second half, we fired nine to 10 shots on goal. We tried everything and it (a goal) did not happen,” said Pioli as reported by Sky Sport Italia.

“Sassuolo is a good team. We know they can cause problems for us. Rafael Leao performed well from the bench. Everyone appeared with effort and generosity. However, with added accuracy and sharpness, we should be able to bring home points.”

The sharpness of the front lines is indeed a chore that Pioli needs to finish. Reportedly, Milan will bring in a new striker in the transfer market next winter.

“We made some technical mistakes today which can be very expensive at this level. I think we lack the determination and ability to resolve opportunities,” he said.

“The fact that we have 10 chances to score is an indication of showing good performances. However, our biggest weakness at the moment is having to create so many opportunities and to score goals. We have to gain goals early.”

An additional one point makes Milan occupy the 10th position of the standings after reaping 21 points. Gianluigi Donnarumma and his friends are 11 points adrift of AS Roma who are ranked fourth or the end of the Champions League zone.
