By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli revealed that the Rossoneri do not need to buy many players in the transfer market this summer. The 54-year-old manager actually wants his team to focus on keeping Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gianluigi Donnarumma from leaving a bit.
“Milan doesn’t need a lot of new players. We need a few additional players, but in the right position,” Pioli said as quoted from Football-Italy, Wednesday (19/8).
He believes the club will find the right solution to fill the gaps in his team. Pioli admitted that he had met with CEO Ivan Gazidis, along with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. “Together, we will do our best to improve the team,” said Pioli.
Talking about Ibrahimovic, Pioli mentioned the reasons why he really wanted to keep the former LA Galaxy player. According to him, the Swedish player can provide many lessons to young players, as he is a very professional.
In fact, Pioli emphasized that Ibrahimovic can be used as a role model for his teammates.
“The secret is his desire to win and always improve,” he concluded.
