Steven Gerrard’s Story in Scotland
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, told the story of his experience coaching Scottish club, Rangers.
Steven Gerrard will undergo his 100th match as Rangers coach against Hearts. Gerrard has had his shares of ups and downs while handling the Gers.
Ahead of receiving the Rangers offer, Steven Gerrard apparently had received a warning from Jurgen Klopp. At that time, Klopp said that handling Rangers was not an easy matter.
It turned out that Steven Gerrard didn’t really listen to Jurgen Klopp’s advice. The former Liverpool captain only realized it after coming to Glasgow City.
“Handling Rangers is an adventure that makes me happy. This is an extraordinary job at great club. I enjoy it,” said Steven Gerrard.
“There were a lot of good and bad experiences while handling the club. It’s like what I thought, but I felt hungry and ambitious like when I first came.”
“One thing that surprised me was when there was pressure and great responsibility. Just like what Jurgen Klopp said, he was right,” he added.
Steven Gerrard has handled Rangers since 2018. Although he has yet to win a title, the 39-year-old man have twice brought The Teddy Bears to the Europa League group phase.
