DBasia.news – Persiwa Wamena can’t accept the sanction from PSSI disciplinary committee. In the match with a 2-1 score for Persegres GU, there was an attack for referee Abdul Razak at 78′. Persiwa players got angry following the penalty kick when the situation was still 1-1.

The sanction of the attack on September 15 is heavy, considering the serious violation.

The referee attack was followed up by the disciplinary committee with a big sanction. Persiwa got Rp50 million fine for the attack, while 7 players of Persiwa got the competition ban with the various period from 6 months, 12 months, and forever.

“I personally was shocked by the big sanction. But the situation was like that, so I can understand,” Persiwa Wamena coach Suimin Diharja said.

He emphasized that Badai Pegunungan Tengah club will give the appeal soon. Persiwa assume PSSI disciplinary committee has been unfair in giving the sanction for violating attack.

“The disciplinary committee didn’t see the video match as a whole. They just see the mistake from our player, but there must be a cause and effect,” Suimin revealed.

“We have prepared 8 points for the appeal. The points are referring to the chronology that caused the player’s emotion and the attack,” the experienced coach added.
