Takefusa Kubo Feels Worthy of Being Mocked By Barcelona Supporters

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Takefusa Kubo stated that the Barcelona supporters had the right to taunt him when he visited Camp Nou with his club, Real Mallorca, on Sunday.

The young Japanese player is a graduate of the Barcelona academy “La Masia,” but he joined Real Madrid’s rival club this season and was immediately loaned to Real Mallorca.

“This is the decision of the fans (to mock me),” Kubo told Movistar, as reported by Marca, Monday (9/12).

“I made a decision and they have the right to mock, I deserve it, even though some supporters applauded and gave me support.”

“Am I sorry? No, they must see me as an opponent, not as an 18-year-old who plays football pretty well.”

Kubo played the full 90 minutes of losing 2-5 by Barca, despite that he showed a good game and had to be violated several times by the Blaugrana players.

Kubo even had a chance to “nutmeg” to the winner of the 2019 Ballon d’Or, Lionel Messi.

“Luckily I played 90 minutes and I did everything I could, but that was not enough to get results,” Kubo stated.
