LaLiga in USA

DBasia.news – The controversy of LaLiga match conducted in the US is not over yet. The problem is getting more complicated. Many people are involved, from RFEF to FIFA.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas was the one who started the chaos. Despite Ronaldo’s exit to Juventus, he did innovation and conducted the partnership with sports company Relevent (who conducted the World Cup Tournament), to at least conduct one match in the US.

Claiming to add the revenue for the club, Girona and Barcelona agreed. But, Tebas’ idea got a negative response from RFEF president Luis Rubiales who said Tebas was arrogant for not discussing the big deal with other parties.

Conducting the league out of Europe is considered as an invasion of other countries for Rubiales. The meeting was only between LaLiga and AFE, attended by the president David Aganzo. He believed there are many unclear pieces of information from the plan to conduct LaLiga in the US.

“We have spoken about the matter and with the information we currently have available, the players cannot go to the United States. We lack all types of information regarding the financial side of things, health issues and timetables for when the players would be expected to join up with their teams,” Aganzo told AS.

“We want a report that lays out exactly what is being proposed to pass on to our colleagues. The players are human beings, the fixture list changes and working conditions as laid out in Articles 8 and 9 of the collective bargaining agreement would have to be modified. We need to ensure that the conditions (for the USA fixture) are adequate.”
