DBasia.news – The U19 Indonesia national team under Indra Sjafri will join the mini-tournament of PSSI. In the mini-tournament, Garuda Nusantara will bring 28 players.
Indra Sjafri said that by stating that he won’t eliminate the squad member. “There are still 28 players, that’s enough,” Indra said.
As reported, the mini-tournament will involve China, Thailand, South Korea, and Syria. The similar tournament has been conducted in Thailand entitled 2018 GSB Bangkok Cup and U19 Jordan national team, China, and the United Arab Emirates.
The tournament is conducted to enhance the preparation of U19 Indonesia national team ahead of the 2018 U19 Asian Cup. Indonesia as the host belongs to the Group A with the UAE, Qatar, and Taiwan.
Besides, the West Sumatran coach gives the flexibility to the squad in strengthening the team in the competition. He thinks it won’t bother the training program in the national team.
“No problem, that’s great. There’s nothing wrong playing in the competition, it won’t bother the training program,” he insisted.
