The United Arab Emirates Won the U19 Asian Cup Opening Match

DBasia.news – Two Group A teams from the qualification phase of U19 Asian Cup, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, met each other in the opening match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta.

Both Middle Eastern teams are using the 4-5-1 formation by placing one key player in the attacking line. The United Arab Emirates are sending Ahmed Fawzi, while Qatar prioritized Abdulrahseed Umaru. Both teams are exchanging attacks since the beginning.

The match just went 15 minutes, Fawzi opened the score for the United Arab Emirates. Insulted of the conceded, Qatar striker Umaru could equalize the situation at 36′ by the corner kick. Unfortunately, the United Arab Emirates won at 41′ by the free kick from Ali Saleh.

In the second half, the goal wasn’t created until the end of the match. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates player Mansor Al Harbi got a red card at 85′. The 2-1 score made the United Arab Emirates achieved three points and lead the Group A table of this U19 AFC Cup.
