This Is Why the LaLiga Players Protest
By news-admin
DBasia.news – The LaLiga star players conducted a meeting to discuss the plan to play in the US. They planned to refuse the idea.
Last week, LaLiga announced the partnership with the sports media and multinational entertainment, Relevent. The partnership will conduct the match LaLiga in the US and Canada.
Previously, there is no Europe competition conducted outside Europe. LaLiga took the initiative.
Though the goal is to promote the football in the US and Canada, not everyone agrees to that plan. The LaLiga players will have a protest.
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and Barcelona star Sergio Busquets planned to meet the Asociación De Futbolistas Españoles (AFE). They discussed the refusal of LaLiga plan.
“The captains are surprised and angry that such an important decision was taken without being consulted,” AFE president David Aganzo said.
“The players are unanimously against this, no-one is in favor of it.”
“There are some clubs that are in favor and others that are against it, but I’m speaking on behalf of the footballers.”
“I will state very clearly that we will do everything possible to avoid this,” Aganzo continued.
In the partnership with Relevent, LaLiga will show the best clubs and players in the US and Canada. The partnership aimed to promote football with 15-year-contract.
