Threatened, Marco Silva Makes Promise When Everton will Play Liverpool

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Everton will meet Liverpool in the Premier League continued action on Thursday (5/12) morning. If Everton suffers defeat in this match, Marco Silva’s position as coach of the team will get even worse considering the Everton coach is also being threatened right now.

Everton is ranked 17th and only two points adrift of Southampton in the relegation zone. One more defeat could make Marco Silva lose his job.

The threat is increasingly apparent because the opponent to be faced in this 15th week is Liverpool who has not been defeated. However, Silva believes in the chance of The Toffees this time. He has also promised to provide a solution in the Merseyside Derby match later.

“What is clear is that we have to look at ourselves. We haven’t done as planned since the season began. Of course, the other side that we experienced was that we could not control the match and also the problem of player injuries that we feel up to now feels very heavy,” Silva told Sky Sports on Wednesday (12/12/2019).

“In some competitions, we won it and we must protect it differently. Sometimes we are in a better situation but fail to score. And I’m here to find that solution. That’s what I promised when facing Liverpool later,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese coach stressed that he had not been contacted by management about his future. “The Directors have not talked about me and what they expect. They didn’t say anything,” Marco Silva concluded.
