Timo Werner’s Playing Style Called Fit in the Premier League
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Timo Werner’s playing style that relies on speed was considered suitable with the Premier League game. This was revealed by the coach who launched Werner, Ralph Hasenhuettl.
Chelsea will reportedly beat Liverpool in the hunt for Werner. They are ready to pay for the release clause of the German national team striker worth 60 million euros.
Chelsea reportedly have to immediately redeem Werner from RB Leipzig. Reasonably as the 24-year-old attacker’s release clause will expire on June 15.
The news of Werner getting close to Stamford Bridge was welcomed by Hasenhuettl. The manager who coached Leipzig in 2016-2018 was a figure who launched Werner.
Hasenhuttel who is now in charge of Southampton, believes Werner’s playing style will be suitable with the Premier League. The former Stuttgart striker has a speed that can make him a deadly attacker in the Land of the Three Lions.
“What they don’t like (in England) is player who like to roll around or act. Football here is very intense and fast,” Hasenhuettl said as quoted by SportBild.
“This is a change that would be suitable for Timo: with his speed he is a lethal weapon for the right team.”
“He sometimes still needs input or encouragement. But what I always like about him is that he scores goals that cannot be scored by others.
“Give him a little space and it will be difficult to stop him. He has so many qualities that will always put him above other players,” he explained.
