Tottenham Midfielder Admits Need Time to Adapt with Mourinho
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso said his team still needed time to fully align themselves with Jose Mourinho’s coaching style. However, Lo Celso felt he and his colleagues began to show an increase in self-confidence.
Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino last week. He immediately brought The Lilywhites to defeat West Ham United and Olympiacos.
“We know that it takes time when you have a new coaching staff, a new head coach. It takes time for the team to accept all new ideas. We know they are bringing new ways to work, new methods, new ideas,” Lo Celso told Sky Sports.
Lo Celso himself hasn’t had the chance to appear since Mourinho arrived. However, that did not discourage him.
“It’s all about trying to do the best for the team. This is the manager’s decision, we are only professional players. I am here to improve and grow as a player and as an individual and give 100 percent on the field. After that, it is the manager who decides,” Lo Celso added.
In the next match, Tottenham will host Bournemouth in the Premier League.
