Tottenham vs Arsenal: Last Minute Drama, Spurs beats the Gunners

Despite alternating attempts to launch an attack, both sides failed to add a goal and the 1-1 score lasted until half time.
In the second half, Arsenal had more control of the ball. Nevertheless Mikel Arteta’s troops have not been able to present a threat in the Tottenham defense. As time went on, Arsenal increasingly dominated possession. Statistics showed Arsenal’s possession reacheing 82 percent throughout the 15 minutes of the second half.
In the 60th minute Arsenal almost took the lead, but Aubameyang’s hard shot after receiving Lacazette’s pass only hit the Spurs goalpost. Opportunities was again obtained by Arsenal in the 78th minute. This time Aubameyang’s kick was brilliantly pushed over by Lloris.
Although minimal in controlling the ball, Tottenham weree actually able to score goals. In the 81st minute, through a corner kick scheme, Alderweireld sent the ball into the goal after welcoming Son’s pass with a header. Spurs turned ahead 2-1.
The 2-1 score lasted until the fight was over. Thanks to the additional three points, Tottenham are currently ranked eighth with 52 points. While Arsenal are below Tottenham with 50 points.
