Two Liverpool Players Listed As the Nominee

DBasia.news – Two Liverpool players, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk are listed for the Premier League Player of the Month for August award.
The Liverpool duo are included on the seven-man list for the accolade after their contributions in Liverpool’s perfect start to the 2018-2019 season.
Mane scored three goals so far, two goals in the first match against West Ham United before scoring another goal for a 2-0 victory at Crystal Palace.
While Van Dijk proved him as the soul of the squad during the match by helping The Reds scored clean sheet in three consecutive times.
Both Mane and Van Dijk will compete with Marcos Alonso (Chelsea), Neil Etheridge (Cardiff City), Benjamin Mendy (Manchester City), Lucas Moura (Tottenham Hotspur), and Roberto Pereyra (Watford) to get the award.
