Unable to Defeat Lyon, Guardiola Respects Les Gones

DBasia.news –  Manchester City were unable to defeat Olympique Lyonnais in Champions League group phase this season. In the recent 5th matchday of Group F at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Wednesday (28/11), Man City just achieve one point.

In the 2-2 match, City got left behind by Maxwel Cornet’s goal at 55′. But 7 minutes later, Aymeric Laporte has successfully equalized the situation to be 1-1.

Maxwel Cornet was the real nightmare for City in that match. The 22-year-old player wrote his name on the scoreboard once again. Unfortunately, the victory vanished when Sergio Aguero scored the goal 7 minutes before the match ended.

The draw result makes Pep Guardiola released a surprising statement. He thinks Lyon are the most difficult contender of his team throughout 2018/2019 season.
