DBasia.news – Swansea City fans were very unethical when satirizing the late Emiliano Sala against Cardiff City.
Grief news approached the world of football at the end of January 2019. At that time, Argentine footballer, Emiliano Sala, died as a result of a plane crash.
Pier Malibu’s plane carrying Emiliano Sala crashed in the English Channel. In fact, Sala was just transferred from Nantes to Cardiff City at the time.
Unfortunately, Emiliano Sala’s plane never got to its destination. The 29-year-old player died after being missing for a few days.
A few months after Emiliano Sala’s death, Cardiff City will face Swansea City in the Championship Division. Unfortunately Swans’ supporters carried out a shameful attitude.
A number of Swansea City supporters printed fake airplane tickets on Emiliano Sala’s name. the Ticket images circulated on social media, which has made the club apologized.
“The picture does not represent the policy of Swansea City and our supporters in various ways. Things like this will receive criminal charges,” wrote the club’s official statement.
“Swansea City will support police investigations of hate speech around the club. We do not want incidents to occur at the match at Liberty Stadium,” the statement continued.
The match between the two teams is the first Welsh Derby in five years. Since last in 2014, Swansea and Cardiff have often been separated by competitions.
