Victor Valdes Returns to Barcelona

DBasia.news –  The former Barcelona goalkeeper, Victor Valdes, finally returnes. He returned as a coach.

Victor Valdes has decided to retire since 2018. After a year of unemployment, he was finally called home to train the young Barcelona team.

The former goalkeeper was appointed as coach of the U-19 team. He filled the position left by Denis Silva and will be contracted for one year. The duration of this contract could increase to two years if he succeeded in bringing the young Barca team to excel.

Valdes will lead his team for the first time on July 29. Whereas the first match will take place on August 27 when facing Ajax Amsterdam U-19 team in a friendly match.
