DBasia.news –  The poor relationship between Spain coach Luis Enrique with Barcelona wing defender Jordi Alba is still going strong. It could be seen from the absence of the 29-year-old player to support La Furia Roja.

The bad condition among them was initiated when they were still in Barcelona. At that time, Luis Enrique who managed the Catalonian club chose to eliminate Jordi Alba from Blaugrana’s main squad.

Alba revealed his feeling when he was called-up to Spain national team under Julen Lopetegui. He admitted that he felt more appreciated in Spain national team squad instead of Barcelona.

Alex Vidal, the former Barcelona player who is currently supporting Sevilla, speaks up regarding that incident. He admits that the poor relationship between Luis Enrique and Jordi Alba isn’t just a rumor.

“The situation with Jordi Alba? They have a complicated relationship and he’s not calling (Alba) up right now, even though for me he’s the best left-back in Spain,” Alex Vidal said.

The disliking signal of Luis Enrique to Jordi Alba could be seen from two times he didn’t include Jordi Alba to join Spain national team. He chose to call Marcos Alonso, Jose Gaya, and Jonny Castro to fill the left-back positions.
