West Ham wins a landslide victory on Moyes’ Debut

DBasia.news –  West Ham United marked the return of David Moyes as manager of the team by crushing Bournemouth 4-0 in Week 21.

That result also became West Ham’s first home win which they last felt at the end of August last year.

Mark Noble scored two goals, one of them from the spot, followed by contributions from Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson to support the victory that lifted West Ham to 16th place with 22 points, while Bournemouth (20) are now mired in the relegation zone. 18th.

West Ham tried to look aggressive entering the match and managed to open the scoring in the 17th minute when Noble fired a shot from the edge of the penalty box that had hit Lewis Cook so the ball deceived goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale who had jumped in the opposite direction.

Eight minutes later the lead was doubled by a beautiful volley from Haller to welcome Ryan Fredericks bait that was almost impossible to reach let alone saved by Ramsdale.

In the 33rd minute, Noble fell into the visitors’ penalty box after fighting over the ball with Harry Wilson so referee Graham Scott pointed to the spot which then got a nod from VAR after consulting.

The opportunity was optimized by Noble who faced the ball himself from the spot before outwitting Ramsdale to enlarge West Ham’s advantage to 3-0 in the 35th minute.

Bournemouth’s game never developed until past halftime and that was exploited by West Ham who then scored the fourth goal through Anderson’s feet in the 66th minute.

Anderson received a decoy from Declan Rice, past Simon Francis before firing a low shot that escaped Ramsdale’s ambush and slid into the goal.
