DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti gave his clarification related to the incident between him and La Beneamata midfielder, Keita Balde Diao. The allenatore insisted that there was no serious problem with the player.
Keita looked very disappointed when Spalletti yelled at him before the match against Fiorentina ended on Wednesday (26/9). After the match, Keita refused to shake hand with the coach.
Reported by Football Italia, Spalletti emphasized that he just sent the instruction to Keita. “Communication isn’t easy when you’re on the bench, but it’s a way of talking you do in the tension of the moment,” Spalletti said.
Spalletti added, he sent the instruction to Keita because Fiorentina were threating Inter Milan’s defense. At the meantime, Keita played outside his position. “When Keita came on as a support striker, he helped out a lot, as he kept the ball to feet and took men on, putting us in the opposition half by himself. When he moved out wide, he couldn’t figure out what I wanted and we tried to get the message to him,” Spalleti said.
Inter Milan won 2-1 against Fiorentina in the match at San Siro. Mauro Icardi penalty kick at 45′ and D’Ambrosio goal at 77′ presented two Nerrazurri goals.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina’s goal was created from Milan Skriniar’s own goal at 53′.
This victory made Inter collected 10 points, similar to Fiorentina in the 4th rank. In the next match, Inter Milan will play against Cagliari on Sunday (30/9).
