Why Madrid Face Difficulty to Get Conte
By news-admin
Antonio Conte
DBasia.news – Real Madrid appointed Santiago Solari as the interim coach after sacking Julen Lopetegui.
Salori has two weeks to prove his capability. Madrid still have no candidate for the new coach.
Before Lopetegui sacked, Antoni Conte’s name is often heard to be the new boss at Santiago Bernabeu. But so far, there is no certainty related to Conte and for a while, Lopetegui’s position will be filled by Solari.
Apparently, Conte’s request was the reason behind Madrid’s difficulty. The former Italy national team coach asked Madrid to grant all his request in terms of player recruitment.
Conte wants to recruit the new defending player in Madrid to support his three-defenders strategy often applied in Juventus and Chelsea. The coach is really familiar to 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formation that brought him to achieve many titles in Juventus and Chelsea.
Besides, Conte also wants Madrid to purchase the center-forward who’s played by Karim Benzema. Apparently, Conte isn’t impressed by Benzema’s performance who wasn’t too productive and requires refreshment.
