DBasia.news – 17 football legends in All-Star national team will conduct the donation for the earthquake victims in Lombok and Palu during the charity match at Pekanbaru on October 21, 2018.
“I’m so enthusiast for this match, also other players like Bambang Pamungkas, Ismed Sofyan, and Valentino. Many want to play in this charity match,” said Bima Sakti the former national team captain during the press-conference in Pekanbaru, Thursday.
The All-star national team will have a match against PSPS Pekanbaru All-Star at Riau Main Stadium, Pekanbaru, October 21 at 3.30 pm GMT+7. Bima said Indonesia senior coach Danurwindo will be the coach of All-Star national team for this match.
The former national team captain showed to reporters the list of players participating in the match, written in a paper. Besides him, there are other national legendary football players like Bambang Pamungkas, Ismed Sofyan, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto, Budi Sudarsono, Aly Aiboy, and Firman Utina.

Also, there are Ferry Rotinsulu, Isnan Ali, Selamet Riadi, Gusnedi Adang, Ansyari Lubis, Valentino, Benben Barlian, Amrizal, Ade Suhendra, and Fauzal Mubarok.
“All the players want to deliver an entertaining performance. There is no retirement for a football player. Maybe it does exist for the civil servant or public official, but for a football player, they become the legend,” he said.
“Moreover, perhaps so far Pekanbaru people are lack of entertainment. So the football legends will present their best performance to be the role model in Pekanbaru,” Bima who supported Indonesia national team since he was 19 added.
The head of this charity match’s committee, Edward Yasa, set the target for at least 20,000 spectators to fill Riau Main Stadium with 42,000 capacity. Moreover, the match is free of charge and they just need to pay as they wish in the entrance.
However, for the VIP spectators, the committee sent 120 invitations. “At least the seat price is Rp1 million and the result will be given to the earthquake victims in Lombok and Palu,” he said.
He also added that during the first half break, the committee will hold an auction of the Indonesia national team’s jersey.
“The donation will be announced after the match, and we will give it directly to the victims of the earthquake in Lombok and Palu,” he said.
