2019 Copa America Group Drawing: Chile National Team Are Free from Argentina and Brasil

DBasia.news –  The 2019 Copa America would be conducted at Brasil from June 14th until July 7th. The group drawing has been completed. 12 teams are classified to 3 groups equally.

The defending champion Chile national team are in Group C with Uruguay, Ecuador, and one of AFC invited representatives, Japan. Meanwhile, two other favorite clubs Brasil and Argentina are in a separated group.

The rivalry would be intense in Group B consist of Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, and Qatar for the first time.

Qatar are also the first Arab team who join the Copa America. Felix Sanchez club, along with Japan, are participating in the 2019 Asian Cup at United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Argentina are the favorite candidate to win the group considering their quality. However, it remains unclear whether the megastar Lionel Messi would join the prestigious tournament or not. La Pulga hasn’t been supporting Albiceleste since the end of 2018 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Brasil got a relatively easy contender. Stay in Group A, Tite squad will play against Bolivia, Venezuela, and Peru. As the host and popular club, Brasil must be the champion this year.
