35% of Valencia Team Infected by Covid-19

DBasia.news – Spanish league club, Valencia, confirmed that 35 percent of their team members have tested positive for the corona virus.
Quoted by the AS, Tuesday (03/17) a number of staff, players, and a team of coaches have been tested positive for the virus that first appeared in Wuhan, China. Valencia suspects that exposure to the corona virus occurred after they played against Atalanta in the Champions League second leg.
“Apart from the strict steps taken by the club after playing the UEFA Champions League match on February 19, 2020, in Milan, one of the areas that was confirmed as high risk,” said an official statement from Valencia.
“The latest results show that exposure to the match has led to 35 percent positive results from the team”.
Previously, the club had confirmed that there were five positive cases. Later, they were Ezequiel Garay, Eliaquim Mangala and Jose Gaya. While the other two are the coaching staff.
Garay himself through his personal Instagram account has confirmed that he is in good condition and is undergoing isolation.
“I tested positive for the corona virus, I feel great and now all that’s left is to listen to health authorities,” Garay stated.
