AC Milan are ready to face any obstacles

By db-admin

DBasia.news – AC Milan played well in week eight of Serie A when they visited Stadio Carlo Castellani. Il Rossoneri won a landslide victory with a score of 3-1 over the hosts.

Ante Rebic opened the scoring for Milan in the 79th minute and then Empoli equalized in the 90+2 minute from Nedim Bajrami. The drama in extra time continued until Stefano Pioli’s Milan made a comeback and won 3-1.

The other 2 of Milan goals were scored by Fode Ballo-Toure (90+3′) and Rafael Leao (90+6′). As a result, Milan are still keeping the distance from the top standings Napoli with a distance of 3 points: Milan are fourth with 17 points.

Stefano Pioli saw the passion and determination of his player. Pioli, who last season led Milan to win the Scudetto, thinks his team in this condition are ready to face any challenge.

“In any case, with this passion and determination, we are ready for anything. It’s been almost three years since I’ve been here, we have our identity and our idea, so two days is enough to prepare for Empoli,” Pioli said after the match as reported by Football-Italy.

“Even if we have to make some adjustments and use some players in roles they are not used to, we still play with our principles and organisation.”

“These are players who suffer on the bench when I make decisions, but never complain and are always ready to step up.”

The victory became an important capital for Milan before playing a continuation of the Champions League match against Chelsea, Thursday (06/10) at 02.00 am WIB at Stamford Bridge.

“It was important to do well tonight but I watched Chelsea play today and we will fight there next week, so we need to recover our energy,” concluded Pioli.
