Manolo Gabbiadini
DBasia.news – AC Milan’s search in finding the new striker continues in the winter transfer market. After signing Lucas Paqueta from Flamengo, Milan were eyeing Luis Muriel.
However, there was a significant change in hunting. Muriel chose Fiorentina. Milan changed the target. Football-Italia reported Milan Sporting Director Leonardo is interested in signing Manolo Gabbiadini.
The 27-year-old striker comes from Italy. Before playing for Southampton, he supported Atalanta, Cittadella, Juventus, Bologna, Sampdoria, and Napoli. Gabbiadini could be the ideal alternative for Milan.
His presence could be the rival for Gonzalo Higuain and Patrick Cutrone in becoming the front line player. But, it won’t be easy.
Southampton just want to sell Gabbiadini worth 15 million euro. The Saints won’t accept any loan option without the permanent clause.
The proposal is difficult for Milan because they can’t spend due to the Financial Fair Play regulation. Moreover, Milan are rumored to want to make Gonzalo Higuain and Tiemoue Bakayoko as the permanent players.
