DBasia.news – AC Milan will prioritize Sven Botman as the main list of targets for Milan in the transfer market this summer. However, the Rossoneri don’t care about the price war.

Milan are not complacent after winning the 2021-2022 Scudetto title. Milan wants to defend the title and spread their wings in European competition.

Moreover, Milan has got a new owner. Fresh funds from RedBird made Il Diavolo Rosso want to bring in some additional power.

One of the players that has long been on the list is Sven Botman. The defender belonging to Lille is rumored to have reached a personal agreement with Milan. Both parties agreed to a five-season contract and a salary of €3 million per year.

Paolo Maldini is also prepared with an offer. The sporting director hopes to close the deal at €30 million plus bonuses.

However, according to a report by The Telegraph, Newcastle United is back in circulation. Newcastle reportedly have a slightly higher offer than Milan. The difference is, Newcastle want to pay in installments.

In addition, several British giants are also interested in Sven Botman. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are two of them.

These conditions make Milan want to immediately complete the transfer. Milan are not interested in having to engage in a price war. Milan hopes Botman can help by urging Lille to immediately release him.
