AC Milan is certain, Franck Kessie was offered a new contract

DBasia.news – AC Milan as reported by Calciomercato is convinced of proposing a contract extension to Franck Kessie. This is an anticipatory step so that Kessie does not leave.
Franck Kessie presented himself as one of the best players Milan had against Udinese. Kessie was consistent in the second line and scored the goal that saved the Rossoneri from defeat.
AC Milan is aware of how big Kessie’s role is for the team. Therefore, Milan plans to cast a new contract.
Ivan Gazidis has mandated Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara to contact Kessie’s agent. Negotiations will be in place soon.
Milan’s idea is to give a new contract to the Ivory Coast player with a duration of up to 2025. Later, Kessie will receive an increase in salary from 2.2 million euros to 3 million euros plus bonuses.
The good news, Kessie is interested in staying at Milan. In several interviews, the former Atalanta player has always emphasized that he wants to stay at the San Siro for a while.
AC Milan does not want to repeat the mistakes that happened to Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu. Milan are in a desperate position as the player has never signed a new contract.
Il Diavolo Rosso is in a race against time as Calhanoglu’s contract expires this season. Meanwhile, regarding Donnarumma, Mino Raiola as the agent wants a release clause worth 40 million euros.
So far, the contract extension process for the two players is still in place. Salary issues also made it difficult for both sides to find a way out.
AC Milan certainly doesn’t want this situation to happen to Kessie. Milan wants to be alert.
The problem is, Kessie also has a lot of enthusiasts. One of them is Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri coach, Antonio Conte, reportedly wants Kessie in his squad. Inter tried last winter by submitting a proposal to exchange Kessie with Matias Vecino.
