AC Milan must choose between Hakim Ziyech or Marco Asensio

DBasia.news – AC Milan will have to choose between Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech or Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio to strengthen their forward line this summer.
The Rossoneri have to shift their priorities from targeting players in the center-back sector to attackers.
AC Milan had actually agreed on personal terms with Sven Botman, but Newcastle United came up with a more attractive offer. Therefore, the Italian Serie A champion for the 2021/22 season has now shifted their priority to the front lines.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are not willing to agree on a 30 million euro purchase for a defender when they feel the priority this summer is a player who strengthens attack and a creative midfield.
Two targets that have been on AC Milan’s radar are Ziyech and Asensio, but they seem to have to choose one of the two.
Ziyech will be available on a paid loan with an option to purchase him from Chelsea, but according to Football Italia, AC Milan prefer Asensio, who is in the final year of his contract and is still 26 years old.
Asensio is an option for AC Milan as he plays mainly on the right, which will balance the team’s attack with Rafael Leao on the left.
As reported by AS, Real Madrid are believed to have asked for 40 million euros for Asensio, while AC Milan’s offer was only 30 million euros and that is a gap that can be bridged.
