AC Milan Repeats a Bad Record 81 Years Ago

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  In the sixth match of Serie A, Sunday (9/29), AC Milan, who hosted Fiorentina at the San Siro, had to lose and make the same record as in Serie A 81 years ago.

In that match, Marco Giampaolo fielded the same player for AC Milan for the first time in Serie A. The previous season, Giampaolo had never done that at Sampdoria.

The referee points to the spot when the game ran for 13 minutes. AC Milan player, Ismael Bennacer, received a yellow card after a foul in the forbidden box.

Erick Pulgar who became the executor successfully scored. Pulgar has made the record as the most successful midfielder in penalty matters throughout 2019, scoring eight goals in eight occasions.

The second half ran for 10 minutes when Mateo Musacchio received a red card for violating Franck Ribery. The result, AC Milan had to play with 10 players since then.

Shortly after, Fiorentina added advantage through Gaetano Castrovilli in the 66th minute. Franck Ribery also contributed a goal when the game went for 78 minutes.

AC Milan reduced the lag 10 minutes before the fight was over. Rafael Leao’s individual actions successfully made him register his name on the scoreboard through his shot.

These results have made AC Milan swallow four defeats from the initial six Serie A matches 2019-2020. This was the third time the Rossoneri had received it after earlier in 1930-1931 and 1938-1939.
