DBasia.news – AC Milan managed to extend Fikayo Tomori’s contract with a duration of up to 2027. He is believed to still be part of the long-term project of building the Milan squad. AC Milan are currently still in need of his services.
Tomori was recruited by Milan from Chelsea in 2021. Tomori’s transfer is arguably one of the results of Paolo Maldini’s slick work as technical director.
As soon as he arrived in San Sairo, Tomori immediately played well and proved his worth of being a core player. He played an important role in the journey of the 2021/22 Scudetto last season.
Therefore, it is clear that Milan need to take anticipatory actions by securing the services of the 24-year-old defender for the next five years.
Milan announced Tomori’s new contract through their social media. This news was warmly welcomed by fans.
Tomori agreed a new contract duration of the next five years with new deals. He will receive a raise and his future career will be secure at Milan.
Tomori’s new contract also shows Milan’s actions in the squad-building project. Allegedly, Milan will also soon announce the new contracts of Sandro Tonalo, Pierre Kalulu, and Rafael Leao.
