AC Milan wants to recruit Mario Mandzukic as a coating for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

By db-admin

DBasia.news – AC Milan as reported by Calciomercato is considering Croatian striker, Mario Mandzukic. The former Atletico Madrid player will be used as a coating for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s role for Milan’s front line is detrimental. Not only having an impact on the technical side, Ibra also lifted the mentality of the Rossoneri youth players.

Unfortunately, Ibra is aging. The Swedish attacker has began to frequently enter the treatment room. This condition has made Stefano Pioli have to think harder. Moreover, there are not many options available on the bench.

Therefore, AC Milan’s management has began hunting for players to cover Ibrahimovic. However, the Rossoneri’s choice was not free because they could not spend large amounts of money. Milan’s finances are also affected by the corona virus pandemic.

Milan are reportedly monitoring Mario Mandzukic. The Croatian player is currently not tied to any club after parting ways with Al-Duhail SC.

For Milan, Mario Mandzukic fits the required criteria. Milan believes Mandzukic is still sharp in front of goal.

It is reported that Paolo Maldini has started making contact with the player’s representatives.

Reportedly, Il Diavolo Rosso will submit a six-month contract with an option to extend for one year.

Previously, Mario Mandzukic had competed in Serie A with Juventus. He competed in 162 games with a record of 44 goals plus 7 assists.
