Achraf Hakimi Agrees to Join Paris Saint-Germain

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Inter Milan wing-back Achraf Hakimi has reportedly agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain in this summer’s transfer window. Is it true?

After Inter Milan became the 2020/21 Serie A champions, they were in danger of losing some of the team’s pillars following the financial crisis they were facing. After being left by manager Antonio Conte, Inter are also in danger of losing several other important players.

The Nerazzurri themselves were forced to ‘refund’ some of their important players in order to get fresh funds to balance the balance sheet and prevent the club from the threat of bankruptcy. One of the players that Inter will replace this summer is Achraf Hakimi.

Hakimi himself has actually only played for the La Benemata squad for one season after signing from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020 for 40 million euros. But in his first season, the 22-year-old managed to put on a very impressive performance by contributing 7 goals and 11 assists from 45 appearances in all competitions.

That’s also what makes several clubs interested in bringing him. Recently, Paris Saint-Germain became the leading club to secure Hakimii’s services next season.

Fabrizio Romano claims that PSG are ready to make a final offer of 70 million euros to Inter Milan to complete Hakimi’s transfer to the Parc des Princes. Even Les Parisiens are claimed to have entered into a personal agreement with Hakimi in which the player will sign a five-year contract.

“Achraf Hakimi deal. PSG are now preparing to increase their official offer to Inter – as expected – to around €70 million [including some additional clauses] to complete the deal. This has been confirmed,” wrote Fabrizio Romano.

“Paris Saint-Germain have reached a personal agreement with Hakimi under which he will receive a five-year contract.”
