Against U19 Indonesia National Team, Three China Players Train in Spain

DBasia.news – The U19 China national team coach Yaodong Cheng called 29 players to join the U19 tournament in Indonesia. The tournament by PSSI will be conducted from September 21.

Four teams join this tournament, and one of them is the U19 Indonesia national team under Indra Sjafri.

This is the preparation ahead of the 2018 U19 Asian Cup in Indonesia since October 18 to November 4. Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, will be the tournament venue.

From 29 players called up, three of them are training in Spain. They are Yan Bingliang (Villarreal), Chen Guoliang, Yang Yilin (Jumilla). Another one is J2 League club player, Shaocong Wu who supports Kyoto Sanga.

The rests are local club players, Guangzhou Evergrande, Shanghai SIPG, Tianjin Quanjian, Hebei China Fortune, Guangzhou R&F, Shandong Luneng Taishan, Beijing Sinobo Guoan, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua, Jiangsu Suning, Dalian Yifang, and Zibo Sunday.

Shanghai Greenland Shenhua contributed the most players. There are 9 Shanghai Greenland players prepared for the tournament in Indonesia.

Yaodong Cheng will prepare his team in Shanghai since September 13 before leaving to Indonesia on September 19. The preparation will be conducted one day after arriving in Thailand.

Previously, Yaodong Cheng led the U19 China national team to join the square tournament called GSB Bangkok Cup in Thailand. The U19 China national team got the third rank after two defeats from the United Arab Emirates (0-1) and Jordan (0-2) and one victory against Thailand (1-0).

The U19 China national team join the tournament as the preparation before the U19 Asian Cup as well. China belong to Group D with Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, and Malaysia.

Besides China, the tournament in Indonesia will also involve Thailand. Meanwhile, Syria canceled their participation.
