DBasia.news – Barcelona is one of the teams that being active in the summer transfer market of 2021. Los Cules is rumored to be bringing in a number of players on free or free transfers. This move is similar to what Juventus usually do.
Juventus are labeled as one of the teams that most often sign players who have expired their contracts. That way, Juve don’t have to pay the club that owns the player.
In this season alone, Juve are strengthened by three players who have arrived on free transfers, namely Gianluigi Buffon, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot. Meanwhile, in the past, the Bianconeri have signed a number of players such as Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo in a similar manner.
Now, this step is starting to be followed by Barcelona. Barca chose to bring in players on a free transfer because they could reduce expenses.
Understandably, currently Barca is struggling to get out of the entanglement of financial problems. By bringing in players for free, Barca only need to spend money on agent salaries and commissions.
According to growing news, the players who will join Barcelona on a free transfer are Eric Garcia, Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum.
However, it is not an easy matter to recruit players who are not under contract. Because, there are quite a lot of players with this status.
Therefore, Barca still has to get thumbs up. Barca also reportedly succeeded in getting Aguero and Wijnaldum willing to cut their salaries in order to join the Camp Nou.
